Led by a full-time, board-certified pathologist, the laboratory offers consulting pathologists for consultation in specialized fields. MDL has provided clinical and anatomical pathology services for the St. Louis metropolitan area for nearly two decades. MDL President and CEO Paul Pongpitoon, MT (ASCP), M.P.H., founded the company with three employees in 1985.
